So if you've looked all over the internet for good doll clothes knitting patterns, you will probably have noticed that there aren't any. I mean there are knitting patterns out there for dolls but most of them are either really basic or just....dated. So I have made it my mission to publish cute doll clothing patterns!! Starting with this cardigan! I call it the mini moss cardigan because it's mini and it has the cutest moss stitch accent!!!
Here is my pattern!!

Mini Moss Cardigan
You will need:
1 ball of sport weight yarn
3.25 mm needles
3.25 mm dpns
CO 10 stitches
Neck and shoulders
Row 1: K2, m1, k1, m1,k4,m1, k1, m1, k2
Row 2 and every other even row: purl all sts
Row 3: K3, m1, k1, m1,k6, m1, k1, m1, k3
Row 5: K4, m1, k1, m1,k8, m1, k1, m1, k4
Row 7: K5, m1, k1, m1, K10,m1, k1, m1, k5
Row 9: K6, m1, k1, m1, K12,m1,k1,m1, K6
Row 11:k7, m1, k1, m1, k14, m1, k1, m1, k7
Divide for sleeves and body
K6, place 6 sts on holder, k9, place 6sts on a holder, knit 4, k2tog
Note: After putting sts on holder bring yarn underneath holder to create armholes
Body
Work Irish Moss until desired length of cardigan.
Irish Moss
Row 1: k1, p1
Row 2: k1, p1
Row 3: p1, k1
Row 4: p1, k1
Repeat 4 rows
Sleeves
Move stitches onto holder. PU 3 stitches from under arm. You should now have 9 sts. Divide onto DPNs and work stockinette stitch until desired length. BO
Repeat on other side
And that is the pattern for the Mini Moss Cardigan. I love knitting tiny sweaters. It has the challenge of knitting a real sweater without taking months!!! You could really do any stitch pattern for the bottom half of the sweater. I just thought Irish Moss stitch would be cute.
